A Club night with a difference!
An event held at Glenrothes Art Club on Wednesday 31st August was totally different from the usual art and craft based activity. Instead the club hosted a poetry and prose evening by local poet Ian Nimmo White in aid of the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund.
Ian was reading from his own extensive published poems and short stories to an enthusiastic audience made of both art and poetry enthusiasts. He was joined by fellow poet Tom Hubbard who read from his own published poems and short stories, so the audience were treated to a highly varied evening of readings. The two poets had been friends and colleagues for 25 years and the rapport between the two was a joy to see and hear.
