Collage with a Difference Workshop
Working with collage, ink and PVA glue is best suited to small scale work in order to experience the range of textures & qualities that are most suited to your art. This technique is highly adaptive and can be developed into larger pieces of work at a later stage.
Abstract ideas and images work best but do bring along sketchbooks, drawings or photographs you are inspired by to work with. Portraits are more difficult to work from so choose something easier.

It is important to work with pre stretched paper on drawing boards so bring a selection of boards with you. If you don’t know how to stretch paper this can be easily demonstrated in the workshop. Bring a selection of papers you like, i.e. bits of wrapping paper, printed words, poems etc. that can be torn and used within your art work. If you start collecting these now in a box you will begin to see the potential for your work.

Twiddle Muff Project

The Tuesday Afternoon Craft Group have an interesting Twiddle Muff Project.

The Craft group have been making Twiddle Muffs as an ongoing project and have been in contact with Fife Dementia Resource Centre, Alzheimers Scotland, in Kirkcaldy who are happy to distribute them to people in need in Fife.

We are going to pass some of the Twiddle muffs on to them but will also keep some to be sold to help with Art Club funds.

We need more wool!

If any club members have any oddments of wool, ribbons, etc, no matter how much or how little, any type of wool, we can use anything to make these items and help a worthy cause and the Art Club too.

If you need anymore information please contact the Craft Group.
