2026 UPDATE
Hi, sorry for the gap in posting to the website. I don’t know where the time goes.
So here’s a few things you should know about.
The Arty Bunch classes are held every Wednesday afternoon and are really well attended. We may need to start a waiting list soon.
Times are 4.15 to 5.15 and then 5.15 to 6.15. They will continue through the year unless we have a break during the school holidays.
Tuesday evenings from 6.30 to 8.30 are also well attended as we continue our 4 week blocks of classes with Gilli B. These are advertised on Eventbrite and also emailed to all on our contact lists.
The price is £45 for the 4 week block and keep looking out for the new sessions.
Our monthly hosting of events for PAMIS is ongoing and will be held on the last Saturday of each month except December. These again are really well attended and a couple of comments are shown below about these very special sessions.
The PAMIS families really enjoy the club and I wanted to share a couple of lovely comments with you:
Quote from a carer who is leaving after 10+ years service.
“The lady I support to this class has gained so much from it. She is independent in her art activity (something she is unable to be in her everyday life) she finds a real release of emotions and expression in art and Dot is a true support and catalyst for this. All the volunteers are great and it’s such an inviting and welcoming group. I will miss attending but I know she will continue to be supported to attend as this is an invaluable part of her life.”
Quote from a mum: “We all feel so lucky to have this class for our kids/adults to attend. I know so many of them look forward to the class every month. ‘A’ just loves it too! From a boy that didn’t like participating in anything Arty to reminding me that art class is soon on his calendar. He also enjoys making the many creative choices in store to do when we arrive at art club. Dot always comes up with great seasonal ideas for making art. We are most grateful for the time Dot and Judy give
up to provide this much needed service to allow all individuals with special needs to be creative and for Pamis for providing the funding to allow this monthly class to go ahead.”
